What are your dreams?

Resuming daily meditation has made such a big difference to me, and appreciating everything I have. What could you do to start living as your dream self today?

On the one hand, I have dreams, but usually, i see them as unachievable and also don't see myself worthy of such dreams. On the other hand, i know that i need to work on so many fronts if i want to actualize my dreams.

Often making small steps is a good way to start any journey. 🙏🏻

That feels good! I am trying to do a daily brief meditation, and also a journal entry to include gratitude. I have written my third book and have a book launch coming up soon. Still lacking in confidence/self-esteem but I'm getting there. It's never too late.

That sounds like a good way to support yourself. Have you tried the bloom sessions to see if anything can help challenge beliefs that feed confidence issues? Often confidence isn't something we have, but something we must build through action. Congratulations on the book!

I love the vision of calm wise women living in the countryside. My life is not that far of that vision right now. Thank you for the reminder. I am appreciating my journey.

Well, its is still a life I am living so it has and always will have its dark parts but the knowledge that each challenge brings some lesson i can grow from is comforting.

A great read

I dream of achieving success as an artist and writer within my own mind. I do not dream of fame or fortune!

I have replied to your comments in your PROCRASTINATION blog, at long last, and apologise for the length of Part1 and Part 2

That's a good dream, and you can live it now! Fame and fortune may come later but they aren't the goal for most of us!

I feel like I’m slowly getting there. As someone who tends to dwell on the negative and who’s inherited the generational mindset of ‘I’ll be happy when…’ it’s definitely a daily practice

I find it helpful to visualise where I want to be, then switch back to current reality and implement any changes today, now. 🙏🏻

This is so lovely, Kate. In a bit of serendipity, I'm finishing up the essay for my Sunday post in which I talk about the dream I deferred for 17 years until I retired. You are so wise to find ways in which to incorporate your dreams into life today. Waiting is not a good option.

The dreamiest vision! Can I live in this wisteria-covered countryside home too 😍

You're right, it's good. But my problem is that for me taking these "small steps" is either a one-timer or after some time, i get impatient and abandon doing them completely. I neither know since when nor why i've become like this😭😭
